With integrated Torque sensors, the LBR iiwa enables the automation of delicate assembly tasks for Force-controlled joining operations and process monitoring.
Human-Like Impedance Control
F/T sensors enable this Cobot to absorb reaction forces like a human arm.
The Impedance mode not only increases the life of the Cobot, but also enables HRC applications that otherwise wouldn't be possible.
SAFETY
Safety functions of the LBR iiwa fully meet the requirements of -
Performance Level "d" with architecture Category 3.
In simple words - We are able to configure a 'True' HRC application, which is fully compliant with the relevant standards and legislation.
REPEATABILITY
All gear units of the LBR iiwa are systematically designed for precision and manufactured with extremely low tolerances. This results in a high repeatability of 0.1mm.
The system can also continuously record process parameters and forces in parallel.
INNOVATIVE MEDIA FLANGE
The LBR iiwa Media Flange is a unique innovation that allows energy and communication connections directly to the Flange of the robot.
Various different types of flange options are available depending on the application type (e.g. Pneumatic, Electric etc.).
